ADDRESSING COVID-19 VACCINE HESITANCY:COMMUNICATING WITH PATIENTS AND FAMILIES ABOUT COVID-19 VACCINATION

Description

This training module is designed to provide health care professionals with knowledge, skills, confidence and resources to help them in their role to recommend the COVID-19 vaccine. The training provides skills-based training in delivery brief advice (VBA) and motivational interviewing (MI) techniques which are designed to assist with having positive and effective conversation about COVID-19 vaccination.

The training focusses on case studies which address patient positions on vaccination that you are likely to encounter in your practice/work and provides a structured approach to each situation applying MI and effective communication techniques. The course draws upon recent experience with addressing vaccine hesitancy internationally and we have attempted to tailor this to our local dialogue for Crete/Greece.
