Very Brief Advice on flu vaccine

Description

This training has been developed as a collaboration with Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association and provides training on how to deliver very brief advice on flu vaccination. The training has been developed for community pharmacists, however the principles and skills featured in the training are appropriate for all health care professionals.

Learning objectives

At the end of this training participants will be able to:

  • Understand the role of very brief advise on flu vaccination
  • Understand how to delivery very brief advice on flu vaccination
  • Understand the role of Motivational Interviewing (MI) to address ambivalence about flu vaccination
  • Gain confidence in using MI skills in interactions with ambivalent clients
